Leah Secondo

Leah Secondo and Judi Kaffeian with BaileyLeah Secondo is considered a trailblazer for women in the sports broadcasting industry. A Southern CT State University alumnus, Leah was the first female sportscaster hired at a western Massachusetts TV station followed by being hired as the first female sportscaster in Connecticut. Close to three decades later, Leah continues to announce games for various regional sports networks. On numerous occasions, Leah has been recognized for her work. The most coveted being the 2007 Florida Associated Press Award.

Leah is also a real estate agent with Michael Saunders & Company. She is a five-time winner of the “5-Star Best Real Estate Agent in Client Satisfaction Award.” A three-time hall of famer, and native of Enfield, CT, Leah has achieved the incredible feat of twice recording a hole- in-one.

A Manatee County resident for nearly two decades, Leah is involved with county government and subdivision projects/concerns including the Keep Manatee Beautiful adopt a highway program.

Leah is most proud of being blessed to have been one of Bailey’s Moms. He brought her great joy each and every day, teaching her so much while loving unconditionally. Leah vows to continue to keep Bailey’s legacy alive and assist other canines through the foundation.
